Scan Party Scanner in Action

This is truly AMAZING. If you have ever tried to scan photos with a flatbed scanner and hours later you had little to show for it this is your solution! Contact me and we can set up an individual session or book a scan party to get some or all your scans for FREE!

Time is money and this service saves BOTH! I can easily scan 30 photos, front and back, per MIN!

The cost is priceless too...

So....I found this field of sunflowers out in Marsing where I am substitute teaching for my friend who just had a sweet little baby girl. I'll finish up September 30th. The kids are great (9-12th grade) and the drive is amazing with harvest in full swing: apples, peaches, plums, pears, grapes, and my favoite fragrance....mint fields being harvested.

OK, so back to the photoshoot. It was a Sunday evening, every one was tired, the sunflowers were bowing their heads down to say their prayers and Anthony just wanted to throw dirt clods into the ditch. Fun times. It was not ideal, but it was fun and different and I have some great shots of my boys!

To scan or not to scan

OK, so we have been to Disneyland, the cabin in Gibbonsville Idaho (Salmonish), William Joseph concert AND the JONAS BROTHERS this spring/summer.

But first on my list to share on my blog is what I just finished. Scanning 7,236 files A.K.A. precious artwork, schoolwork, and doodles of my kidos. I also found a few things from grade school up to college. Take special note of the love notes.

Before anything else.

You need to know James and I were engaged in October of 92 and Married APRIL of 93. We were both crazy busy with school and jobs and had very little time together-good thing too. Anyway I must of come up with a brilliant idea to jot each other love notes in this little "mini' composition notebook. He obeyed--Did I marry WAY above me or what?

What do you think the other priceless photos or papers I kept ALL these years? ALL 7,236.

Now you may be asking how I did THAT MANY files without finding a dull knife in my kitchen. I used a special High Speed Scanning service that I offer through Heritage Makers. At 30 or more photos per minute I was going to town! Here is a sample of what I found:

Wrestling with life

I LOVE wrestling. (As sports go, I can get close to get good photos and they LOVE it.) My boys joined "Little Vikings" in Middelton a few weeks ago and Tues and Thursday are our final two tournaments. James is busting at the buttons with pride.

Always a first time.

Yikes, how old do I feel? Me-blogging? Really? And almost painless. Our family has been sick and I lost my voice-untill I started this entry and now I am loud and clear. Well, I'm off to shine my sink-it's a FLY Lady thing. I'm trying to loose weight (Schwartz Biggest Looser challenge) and gain control of my house and ALL the clutter. Pray the opposite doesn't happen. Someday it will look like Rebecca Wisor's-check out her blog.

I'll add a link to the FLY (Finally Loving Yourself) Lady soon. She is great. Nothing I don't already know, but a gentle reminder is GREAT! From her-NOT anyone else.

Oh, above are some photos of my boys on one of TWO Snow Days. I gave them spray bottles with water and let them choose the color. C choose red for "blood" and B choose yellow for, yep you guessed it. Later we added blue to make it green so it showed up better. Cute Kido's.
